PEF funds technology purchases for

Poquoson City Public Schools

PEF exists to support our students and teachers. Thanks to the many people who take part in our fund raising efforts, we were recently able to assist in a big way.  A donation of $44,000 to  PCPS will be used to provide all four schools with updated  technology equipment and software.  The presentation was made at a recent school board meeting by PEF president, Judy McCormick and the PEF Board of Directors.

PEF Directors recognized at school board meeting

“I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the members of the Board of Directors of PEF and all of the community members and business who support them financially and with assistance at the fundraising events.”
PCPS Superintendent, Dr. Jennifer Parish

Dr. Jennifer Parish recognized PEF for their hard work at the May 16 school board meeting.  She made note that since  the 2009-2010 year, PEF fundraising has surpassed the half-million dollar mark. Board members were rewarded in the best possible way… with thank-you notes from Poquoson students of all ages.

And the winner is…PPS!

Once again, the faculty and staff at Poquoson Primary School are the winners for having the best participation in our Poquoson’s Run For The Bulls 5K race/walk.  PEF honored them with a breakfast on May 24. Thank you, PPS.  We hope to see you on October 28, 2017 for our next run. For more pictures visit us on Facebook.
